Oscar-Winning Actor Anthony Hopkins Asked Snoop Dogg and Jimmy Fallon About NFTs

One of the greatest actors of all time – Sir Anthony Hopkins – said he wants to jump on the non-fungible token bandwagon. As such, he asked for the help of Snoop Dogg, Jimmy Fallon, and Reese Witherspoon, who have some experience in the field.

The Latest Celebrity to Join the NFT Craze

It seems like the prolific actor, director, and producer – Anthony Hopkins – is ready to catch the NFT wave by purchasing his first digital collectibles. He revealed he is amazed by the artists that encompass the space, seeking other celebrities’ advice on the matter.

Additionally, he changed his Twitter account to “AHopkins.eth,” outlining his support for Ethereum. This goes on to show that he had acquired the name from the Ethereum Name Service (ENS).

I’m astonished by all the great NFT artists. Jumping in to acquire my first piece, any recommendations? @SnoopDogg @JimmyFallon @ReeseW pic.twitter.com/pjeP8dVNfD

His request captured Jimmy Fallon’s interest. The TV personality said the NFT space is full of “great artists, and it’s a fun community in general.” He also admitted he is not an expert but is ready to have a chat with Hopkins on the matter.

It is worth noting that the actor’s potential jump into NFTs will not be his first interaction with the sector. Last year, the movie “Zero Contact” (where he plays the main role) was auctioned off as a non-fungible token. Commenting on the initiative at the time was Rick Dugdale – Director of the NFT platform Vuele:

“The future of the film business is blockchain…This could be a scenario where prior to theatrical release or home entertainment, a film is released as an NFT.”

Anthony Hopkins is a Welsh actor who has received many awards and nominations throughout his long career. Arguably, his most popular role is that of Hannibal Lecter in the thriller “The Silence of the Lambs,” for which he won his first Oscar.

Seth Green’s History With NFTs

Another Hollywood actor to have engaged with the non-fungible token sector is Seth Green. The 48-year-old star known for playing in movies like “The Italian Job,” “Robot Chicken,” and “Party Monsters” owned four NFTs part of popular collections such as Bored Ape Yacht Club, Doodles, and Mutant Ape Yacht Club.

However, he recently revealed that all those digital collectibles had been stolen from him. Green also urged people not to buy or trade such assets because they might become victims, too.
